You will be successful in this clerk position if you're able to enter high volumes of data into Microsoft Excel and ERP systems and databases with utmost precision and speed and must possess a high level of organization, reliability and attention to detail. This Data Entry Clerk role is a short-term contract / temporary opportunity and is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Major responsibilities
- Handling highly sensitive information
- Supporting the company in data entry and other administrative tasks
- Reviewing customer and account source documents for deficiencies
- Working on special projects as assigned
- Adhering to policies and procedures when performing operations; reporting needed revisions
- Acting in accordance with data program techniques and procedures to ensure data entry requirements are met
- Compiling and sorting data for computer entry; establishing entry priorities
Requirements
- Less than one year of experience preferred
- Perform a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
- navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience desired
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Office
- Scanner experience preferred
- Expert Microsoft Excel skills required
- Proven computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Expected salary: $16 per hour
